Jackie and Douglas Clove have opened The Clover Patch, an excellent quilt and fabric shop in Santa Clara, Utah. Santa Clara is a quaint town (now a suburb) of St. George, Utah. As you drive down Santa Clara's sycamore lined main street, you see cute homes and it almost feels like your are entering "home town USA".

The Clover Patch Quilt Shop features over 5,000 bolts of fabrics. Though the primary emphasis is on quilt fabrics, they also have a good selection of fleeces, flannels and quilting notions. Oh, I also forgot to mention that they also have a nice gift shop that is connected with the fabric shop. The Clover Patch is related to Enterprise, Utah's "Cloves General Store", which has been a Southern Utah Quilters favorite for many many years.

There are two things you quickly notice upon checking out the Clover Patch. First, the prices are well below the typical prices at the usual quilt shop. Though they carry the most up to date fabrics from Moda, Blank, Henry Glass and more, their prices seem to range from $6.99 to $7.99, well below the typical of $10=$12 per yard that is seen everywhere else. The second thing you notice is that the selection and presentation is excellent. It is easy to find things either by its place on their large "color wall" or by category groupings.
